The main change is that passengers on routes 1 and 2 will be able to continue from Torrevieja University Hospital to Avenida Doctor Gregorio Marañón without changing buses. Route 1 will link Los Altos, Punta Prima and Rocío del Mar with the centre, while route 2 will connect Los Balcones and Lago Jardín.
Route 8 will receive a permanent coastal route towards La Mata because of the Paseo de Los Locos redevelopment works. The La Mata terminus will be on Calle Mayor, number 59, with stops including Cabo Cervera on the way.
Passengers are advised to check the route and stop information before travelling, particularly during the first days after the changes take effect.
