The town hall says routes 1 and 2 will continue beyond the hospital to Avenida Doctor Gregorio Marañón, allowing passengers to stay on the same bus. Route 1 will directly connect Los Altos, Punta Prima and Rocío del Mar with the centre, while route 2 will serve Los Balcones and Lago Jardín and recover its former route along two city avenues.
Route 8 will also change because of the Paseo de Los Locos redevelopment. Its new coastal itinerary towards La Mata will remain in place after the works, with the terminus at Calle Mayor, number 59.
The first services on routes 1 and 2 will leave at 06:45 or 07:00 depending on the starting point, while the last departures are scheduled for 22:10 on route 1 and 22:30 on route 2.
