Road resurfacing begins across five streets and avenues in La Mata

The works cover 14,886 square metres on Calle Perseo, Avenida de Inglaterra, and the streets Adriano, Puerto Romano and Vía Augusta. Crews began by removing the worn surface on 22 October before laying the new asphalt. The work is intended to create a more even surface for residents, drivers and other road users.

The La Mata project is part of a wider municipal contract covering 327,529 square metres of roads and accessibility improvements across Torrevieja. The broader plan also includes measures such as wider pavements, lowered crossings and renewed signs in selected locations.
