Sonny Redmond consented to extradition during a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London. Spanish authorities are seeking his return in connection with an investigation into a group allegedly targeting cannabis clubs through threats, robbery and extortion.
The case follows a December 2025 shooting in Lomas de Cabo Roig, where an attacker fired up to 15 shots at Redmond’s vehicle. He suffered gunshot wounds and was treated at Torrevieja Hospital before recovering and returning to Britain.
The Spanish investigation concerns an alleged 2024 robbery at a cannabis club in La Marina, San Fulgencio. Reports say suspects stole cannabis products and cash and later demanded money from the business owner. No confirmed date has been announced for Redmond’s return, and the shooting remains unresolved.
