The event was moved from the original date as a mark of mourning and respect for the victims of the railway accident. The programme includes themed workshops, parades, inflatables, entertainment and activities for families.

In Orihuela, the Glorieta Gabriel Miró will host music, decorations, Halloween characters, slime and craft workshops, face painting, a themed train, laser tag and inflatables. A parade with a batucada group, dance schools and stilt walkers is scheduled for seven in the evening.

Orihuela Costa will stage its programme between Calle Escorpio and Calle Capricornio, with workshops from six in the evening and a themed parade beginning on Calle Capricornio at eight.
