The programme will be held at the Centauro Quirón Foundation in Murcia and will have places for a maximum of seven children. From 31 October to 23 January, participants will take part in supervised activities involving interaction with rescued horses, their care and riding.
Specialist staff will tailor the sessions to physical, sensory, emotional and social needs, working on areas such as coordination, balance, independence and daily routines. The scheme expands Elefantes de Papel, Orihuela’s municipal inclusion programme.
Families seeking information or wishing to apply can email familia@orihuela.es. They will need to provide the child’s name and age, together with details of disability and support requirements.
