The programme will run from 22:30 to 00:30 between Ramón Sijé Square and the Ayuntamiento, the town hall. Special lighting and sound will accompany actors portraying the Ánimas, two witches and five large puppets as they move through the streets and interact with visitors.

The event will also feature dramatised scenes at several heritage locations, based on works including The Student of Salamanca, The Golden Bracelet, Don Juan Tenorio and The Souls’ Mountain. Organised by Orihuela’s Culture Department, the event was moved from 31 October because of the official mourning period and will now take place on Friday 7 November.
