The work was supported by a €7,999.94 grant from Alicante Provincial Council under its 2025 programme for improvements to municipal roads, in funding line C.
The new lights combine LED technology with solar power, providing a cleaner and more efficient solution for local infrastructure. The council says the project is intended to improve municipal facilities while encouraging the use of renewable energy.
The installation forms part of the municipality’s wider effort to maintain its roads and introduce more sustainable equipment for residents.
