The project covered the section linking the Camino de los Torrecillas with La Marquesa. The council says the work has improved conditions for vehicles and farmers who use the route.
The scheme was carried out under Line B1 of the provincial investment programme for municipal roads, which covers project preparation and technical assistance.
The works were supported by a grant from Alicante Provincial Council under its 2026 programme for road improvements carried out by town halls and other local authorities.
