Investigators began monitoring the properties after noticing a steady flow of visitors who appeared to leave carrying drugs. Police also say the occupants accepted valuable stolen goods in exchange for narcotics.
Searches recovered 44 grams of hashish and 45 grams of marijuana, together with phones, watches, tools, a bicycle and three scooters. Some of the seized property has been provisionally linked to six burglaries in Orihuela, allowing officers to contact victims and return belongings.
The three suspects were brought before Orihuela's duty investigating court after police procedures were completed. Officers are continuing to examine the remaining items to establish where they came from and whether they are connected to further offences.
